What are your opening hours?
We are open Monday to Friday 9.00am until 5.00pm and Saturday 9.00am until 1.00pm. We are closed Sunday's.
Q- I've been to your store before, but you had a different name?
For three years we were called Flattack flooring. We are still operating under the same ownership but due to changes in our industry and current market trends we decided to look at what our customers really wanted: Good quality, affordable flooring ready to take home today. So with that, Bargain Carpets was created.
Q-Why are your products cheaper than at other stores?
This is probably our most frequently asked question, and the answer is quite simple. We don't have large fancy show rooms, lots of staff, or large overheads so we keep our costs down, which allows us to pass these savings on to you. We also source our products very carefully. As well as our regular stock, we buy deleted lines, seconds and aged stock which allow us to pass these even greater savings to you.
Q-I want to come and look at your stock, where are you in Napier?
We are located at 28 Austin Street in Onekawa, Napier.
Q-Your website doesn't tell us what you have in stock, why?
Because our stock can change on a day by day basis it's extremely hard to keep an up to date stock list online, however we can promise you three things:
We will always have Polypropylene carpets in stock from $49
We will always have 100% heavy duty wool carpets from $79

Q-I'm a landlord/Property Manager what deals do you have for my properties?
We pride ourselves in giving an A1 service to people in this industry, we do work for all the major real estate agents in the Hawkes Bay region plus many others nationwide, to supply good quality carpets and vinyls at the most competitive prices. Q-Are there any other ways which I can save money?
We can save you money on your instillation: We will supply you details of carpet, vinyl, tile and laminate floor installers so you're cutting out the middle man and going direct. Just buy your product from us and you arrange the fitting.
Q-Can you do my whole job?
Yes, we can handle everything from start to finish. We just need you to choose a suitable product and we will do the rest.
